What is Creator Cast?
Creator Cast is the PrismPoster tool for live streamers who want viewers to make fan clips and fan selfies using their likeness — safely. You set up your creator likeness once. From then on, viewers can submit fan clips and fan selfies made with that likeness, and you review EVERY submission before anything can appear on stream. Nothing reaches your audience automatically — approved clips play in the app when you press play, and you decide when to put that window on stream. The control stays with you at every step: who can submit, what you approve, and whether your likeness is active at all.
How does Creator Cast work?
There are three stages, and you sit in the middle of all of them.
- Set up once. You complete a one-time, consent-based likeness setup and attest that you hold the rights to your own likeness. See setting up your likeness.
- Viewers submit. People watching your stream generate a fan clip, or a fan selfie (an AI image where they appear alongside your likeness), and send it in.
- You review. Every clip lands in a review queue. It only goes anywhere on stream when YOU approve and send it. See reviewing fan submissions.
There is no path where a viewer's clip skips your review.
Who is Creator Cast for?
Creator Cast is built for live streamers on Twitch and YouTube. You connect those accounts only for live-stream tools — fan clips, the Fan Song Queue, and chat commands — never to post to a social feed. See connecting Twitch and YouTube for exactly what the connection covers. Creator Cast and the live stream toolkit are free on every plan, including Free, so you can set up your likeness and let viewers submit without upgrading. If you also refer other streamers, you can earn cash through the partner program.
What controls do I keep over my likeness?
You stay in charge of access and exposure:
- Consent and access gates. Decide who can submit — for example, Twitch followers, subscribers, or an approved-fan list. See consent and access gates.
- Pause, revoke, takedown. Pause submissions, revoke your likeness, or take down content at any time. See pause, revoke, and takedown.
- Privacy by default. Like everything in PrismPoster, your work stays private until you act on it. Raw capture frames from setup are deleted once your likeness is built.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can a viewer's fan clip go on my stream without my approval?
No. Every submission goes to a review queue, and a clip only appears on stream when you approve and send it yourself. There is no auto-publish path in Creator Cast.
What's the difference between a fan clip and a fan selfie?
A fan clip is an AI video made with your likeness. A fan selfie is an AI image where a viewer appears alongside your likeness. Both are made with the same consent-based likeness, both land in the same review queue, and neither airs until you approve it.
Do I have to set up my likeness more than once?
No. Setup is a one-time step. After that, viewers submit clips made with that single likeness, and you can pause or revoke it whenever you want from your likeness controls.
Does connecting Twitch or YouTube let PrismPoster post for me?
No. PrismPoster is a content creation studio, not a social publisher. Twitch and YouTube connect only for live-stream tools. See connecting Twitch and YouTube.
